At the weekend we had released a great special to the new Intel Alder Lake CPUs and the new pedestal 1700. Above all, the Core I5-12600K and Core i7-12700K and Core I7-12700K are very well, as far as the value for money compared to the AMD Ryzen 5 5600x, Ry zen 7 5800x and Ry zen 9 5900x are concerned.
Ry zen 5000: Cheaper for Intel Alder Lake?
As now WCCFECTCH reports, a first dealer has lowered the AMD processors, alleged because of the pressure by Alder Lake, lowered in the price. Currently, however, it is still so that there is only relatively expensive overclocking motherboards at the pedestal 1700, so the package price of CPU, motherboard and RAM a Ry zen 5 5600x or Ry zen 7 5800x is still the slightly better choice.
Soon, however, more favorable motherboards are expected for the new Intel processors, which will then finally put pressure on the Ry zen 5000 — if their prices do not sink.
There is no price movement in Germany — but the Ry zen 5000-CPUs were even more expensive in recent months, but have been priced for a while and are below the AMD price recommendation. As far as the US is concerned, WCCFrech reports on the price reduction in a shop in the amount of $30 for the Ry zen 5 5600x and even a whopping $150 for the Ry zen 7 5800x, which refers to the price recommendation of AMD.
In the US, prices are apparently with other dealers still in the area of the AMD price recommendation. Here in Germany we are already below, even clear at the Ry zen 7 5800x — therefore we would be careful with it, even here a noticeable price reduction. For the reasons mentioned above, however, at least a moderate lowering would not be unlikely.
