The Last of Us Series: SetFoto shows Joel for the first time from the front & fans are excited despite mask

While we wait impatiently on the release date of the The Last of Us -SerienAdaption, we always get small appetine hats thrown. For example, we have already seen a photo that Ellie and Joel showed from behind. Now we can examine Pedro Pascal for the first time in his role as Joel also from the beginning - and that he wears a mask, many fans does not bother at all. Here you will learn more about it.

Joel from the front - under Corona conditions

This is what: On the Internet, a new image of the SET of the Last of US series has appeared in Edmonton. It shows the main actor Pedro Pascal in his role as Joel - this time from the beginning. However, there is a hook: Pascal wears a mask. No, not against the spores that you know from the game, but a corona mask. Of course, this covers a good part of his face. Behind him something is to recognize what could be a checkpoint.

We have already seen Pascal in his role before on a first teaser image, along with his acting collegiate Bella Ramsey, who embodies Ellie. The photo was good because it looks very strong after the game template, although the scene does not occur in the PlayStation Exclusive. In this picture we could only see the two main persons from behind. That s why the new photo offers a fresh insight, even if Pascal s face is not quite seen.

Fans are still excited

On the reactions on Reddit and the LAST OF US ON HBO - Status-Twitter account, we can see that the fan base really hungry on new impressions, because despite the mask many are already convinced by Pascal as Joel. LOGAN MORR150N, for example, writes to Reddit:

Jesus, he looks exactly like [Joel]. I can not believe that there are still people out there, which criticize the cast.

Fishy holds shorter on Twitter:

HE IS SIMPLY THE BEST.

Some fans would have already seen more. Alilivin gives concerns about Reddit:

But we still do not know if he has the beard !!

Since we really have to be patient. Since even details of Joels s backpack were reproduced exactly, we can assume that the series is basically oriented heavily on the game. Nevertheless, there will certainly be some differences. We can be curious when we will see Ellie and Joel unmasked from the front.

What do you say about the picture?
